Terms of Service
Last updated: May 26, 2026
By accessing or using Htmlify.dev (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Htmlify.dev provides free, browser-based tools that convert files (such as Word documents, CSV, JSON, and Markdown) into HTML. All processing happens locally in your browser. The Service is provided on an “as is” basis with no guarantees.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Process files that contain malware, illegal content, or material that infringes the rights of others;
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or impose excessive load on the Service;
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a way that materially affects other users.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the files you convert. Because conversion happens in your browser, we do not receive, store, or transmit your content. The output HTML belongs to you and you may use it for any lawful purpose.
4. Intellectual property
The name “Htmlify.dev”, the site design, and the conversion tooling are owned by the operator of this site. You may not duplicate the site or use the name in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the output is free of errors or suitable for any particular use. Always review converted HTML before publishing.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Htmlify.dev is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, or business interruption.
7. Third-party services
The Service uses third-party providers such as Cloudflare (hosting) and Google Analytics (measurement). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; significant changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
